Cisco AnyConnect Login (Windows 10) – Start Before Login 1. Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete to unlock the computer. After clicking OK at the next screen, click the Cisco AnyConnect icon located at the lower-right corner. Note: You must have an internet connection. The Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility client will appear. Were blocking AnyConnect installation. The second PC, that i was trying to install, its installation log file indicated this message, which was pretty straight forward: Windows Installer reconfigured the product. Jadyr Pavao and I have the same issue. Update: It looks like AnyConnect and the nacl-development-environment plugin may have a conflict. Following Pete's recommendation, I removed the nacl-development-environment plugin, removed and reinstalled AnyConnect, and vpn is working again.
After connecting to the VPN client, Internet connectivity stops working (including network shared drives). The network connection may show up as 'Local Connection Only.'

On Windows 7:
1. Click on the Start button.
2. In the search box, type ncpa.cpl. Press Enter.
3. The Network Connections window should open. Right click on the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client Connection. Click on Properties
4. Select the Networking tab.
5. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) from 'This connection uses the following items.'
6. Click on Properties. Click on Advanced. Make sure there is nothing listed under Default gateway using the Remove button to remove any that are there.
7. Close the Network Connections window. Attempt to connect to the VPN and then the Internet.
Windows 8, 8.1, 10:
Instead of using the Start button, begin with the Search tool. The rest of the Windows 7 steps will work for Windows 8.

My computer had a software named Connectify which is used for creating ad-hoc. And in the adapter settings there was an option regarding connectify. I disabled it and everything worked fine.
Technology Services note: Any software that allows you to share your computer's network connection with others will interfere with the VPN. Uninstall or disable the software, reboot your computer, and try the VPN again.

As of March 2019, server licenses using AnyConnect for RV34x fimware version 1.0.3.15 and later are no longer required. Now you will need only a client license to download and use the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client. A client license enables the VPN functionality and are sold in packs of 25 from partners like CDW or through your company's device procurement.

Navigate Windows File Explorer to the installer file. Double-click Setup.exe to initiate the installation process.
A pop-up window may ask for permissions, in this case, select Yes. If your pop-up asks if you are sure you want to run this software, select Run.
Check the check boxes for the modules that you need to install.
(Optional) Check the Lock Down Component Services check box if the feature needs to be enabled. Enabling this feature will prevent users from disabling the Windows Web Security service.
Click Install Selected.
Click OK.
Carefully review the Supplemental End User License Agreement and then click Accept.
There you have it! You have now successfully installed the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client on your computer.
